Luxury, Custom Hunting Safaris in Namibia Africa

Dangerous Game Trophy Hunts for Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Nile Crocodile and Hippo

Jofie Lamprecht Safari in Namibia offers a completely custom and private trophy-hunting experience, and the company is proud to uphold the traditions of ethical and fair-chase hunting. Jofie leads safaris each year for elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo, crocodile and hippo.  The primary objectives are always a top trophy—a magnificent animal that is nearing the end of its natural life—and a memorable hunting experience.

Namibia Fair Chase Big Game and Plains Game Hunting, including Cheetah

Jofie Lamprecht Safaris’ plains-game and big-game hunting areas are selected for their variety and volume of game, scenic beauty and, of course, trophy quality.  We hunt all the plains-game species, including cheetah. Our Professional Hunters are not only properly certified, licensed and equipped, but also highly capable and personable individuals. Our PHs know their hunting areas, the game, habitat and plant life, and they are committed to ethical hunting. They are also dedicated to meeting clients’ needs and wishes, and making you feel at ease. If it’s necessary to use a language that you don’t understand, your PH will translate immediately so that you understand what is going on.

Our vehicles and equipment are kept in good working order and our rental rifles are reliable, well maintained and accurate. We take every care to ensure that everyone on safari is safe and comfortable.

From the first stages of planning to the list of what you pack, from how you fly to getting your trophies home, Jofie Lamprecht Safaris can assist at each step of the way to ensure that every eventuality is taken care of.

Jofie Lamprecht – Professional Hunter

Jofie was raised in the safari world, in the bush, under the tutelage of his father, Joof Lamprecht. Jofie loves to hunt Namibia’s varied terrain, from desert to high mountains, and he works very hard to get his hunters close to the game. Jofie also enjoys sharing his country, its wildlife and its unique environment with visitors, and he has a special place in his heart for the children who come on safari.

We encourage hunters to bring spouses and children. They are welcome to join our hunting parties and may try the magic of hunting themselves; we take extra care with young and new hunters. Family safaris are always memorable events and we work hard to ensure that everyone in the party has a wonderful time.

Namibia – Land of Contrasts

“Namibia” translates to “the huge, deserted place.” But Namibia is not all desert! Our country has vast savannas teeming with wild game, mile wide rivers as well as deserts – a diversity of habitats that will ensure that your African dream comes true.

Namibia lies on the Atlantic coast of southern Africa, between Botswana to the east, Angola and Zambia in the north, and South Africa to the south. After Mongolia, Namibia is the most sparsely populated country on earth, yet it is home to a great variety of proud and culturally diverse tribes—and it is tranquil and politically stable. Namibia has one of the world’s wildest coastlines and much of the country is desert with an arid climate and sparse and erratic rainfall, yet wildlife is plentiful everywhere.

Namibia, the land of shifting sands, is a rough diamond on the African coast, ready to be explored, hunted and photographed by you and your family. There is an abundance of wildlife and some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes and dramatic vistas. Namibia is also famous for a sense of untainted non-commercialized Africa.

The country covers roughly 825,000 square kilometres or 515,625 square miles—comparable to Germany and France combined or twice the size of Texas (or slightly smaller than Alaska).

We look forward to helping plan your safari and welcoming you to Namibia!
