Brown Bears – We are fortunate to be hunting an area that has produced exceptionally large bears. They grow big because there is an enormous amount of food, salmon, blue berries, and other rich foods to consume each year. These bears also have fantastic genetics, just like moose which are also very large in this area. It is not uncommon to harvest a 10-footer in our hunting area. We stalk these giants from April to June and then from September through October.

I have not experienced anywhere, even the interior, the unique hide of the bears we hunt. With the abundant food, berries and great genetics, we average 6 to 6.5 foot and occasionally see a 7.5 footer.
