Bolivian Adventures’ hunting packages include a 3-day or 4-day all-inclusive hunt of high volume doves. Las Palomas Lodge and Los Guaduales Lodge are located on approximately one million farming acres of land and experience approximately thirty million migratory doves between the months of April to October. The dove population in Bolivia has increased rapidly over the past ten years parallel to the boom of the agricultural industry. It is estimated that fifty to sixty million doves annually arrive in Bolivia attracted by the newly cultivated food sources.
Bolivia does not place a numerical limit on the number of doves that can be hunted. In fact, our lodge provides assistance and protection to area crops and the local community.
The grounds of Bolivian Adventures offer two resort lodges, Las Palomas and Los Guaduales, and one of Santa Cruz’s first microbrewery, Sir Pieper Brewing Co., all located within sixty miles of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. We are proud to boast that 95% of clients return for future hunts at Bolivian Adventures.
Accommodations at this luxurious lodge include ten five-star king and double queen suites with daily maid service, outdoor swimming pool, game room, outdoor barbecue and firepit area, spa with dry and steam sauna and the same world class food offered at Las Palomas Lodge.
Accommodations at the lodge offer twelve double bed suites, daily maid service, swimming pool, twelve person jacuzzi, spa services, and an incredibly qualified staff. Jorge’s wife, Karin, is the master behind the culinary experience prepared in the both of the lodges’ professional kitchens. She continually impresses all guests with her outstanding food and desserts.
The enterprise Bolivian Adventures, originally founded in the early 1990s, began when Jorge Enrique Molina left his home country of Colombia in search of a new haven where he and his family could prosper. During his initial endeavor in Bolivia, Jorge farmed cotton and eventually purchased a piece of land in Santa Cruz. After a few years in agriculture, he realized that the abundance of doves in the flat lands of Santa Cruz provided great potential for dove hunting, even more so than he had been accustomed to in Colombia.
Jorge’s primary passion is shooting and having already managed a hunting lodge during his time in Colombia, his dream was to turn his passion into an everyday reality. After 14 World Championships, 2 Olympics and many additional international championships, Jorge knew that he had the background and experience to share his passion with others around the world. Bolivian Adventures is the realization of Jorge’s dream, with Las Palomas Lodge being his first step and continuing now with Los Guaduales Lodge.
A graduate of The University of Georgia and proud father of three, Jorge’s passion for shooting is exuded in his daily interactions with guests and all of his Bolivian Adventures family. Jorge’s relentless drive and business savvy have allowed Las Palomas Lodge and Los Guaduales Lodge to flourish. After more than a decade in Bolivia, Jorge has established himself and Bolivian Adventures as a mainstay in the safari industry.
