The area boasts incredible genetics including the largest non-typical whitetail ever harvested in Saskatchewan, a 257 3/8″ monster taken by Elburn Kohler in 1957.  Since then there have been numerous Boone and Crockett registries from the area including a trophy whitetail buck harvested by a client of Kevin Tourand Outfitting (now Bone Quest Outfitters) that had a net non-typical score of 205″.  Whether you are in a ground blind, tree stand, or elevated blind we will have you in a spot with big potential.  All of our 35+ bait sites are equipped with trail cameras to maximize our scouting and ultimately give our hunters the best opportunity at harvesting a trophy whitetail buck of a lifetime.

Saskatchewan Black Bear Hunts

Spring and Fall Archery, Crossbow, Muzzleloader, and Rifle Hunts

Our camp is located just five minutes from the Torch River.  This river is home to some fantastic walleye fishing which can be easily enjoyed from the shorelines on the mornings preceding your hunt (please bring your fishing gear).

The extremely low hunting pressure and prime location provides an ultimate black bear hunting opportunity. Our baits are roaringly busy and it is not uncommon to see multiple bears on the bait every night on the stands. Our strategy is simple and very effective.  We draw bears from a very large area. A combination of some of the finest bait at just the right volumes and baiting schedules to ensure the black bears are competing for the food. Monster black bears are smart creatures so we take our baiting routines very seriously to ensure our hunters the best opportunity at putting these giant black bears on the ground.

Our area is located on the forest/farmland fringe in central Saskatchewan. The dense boreal forest provides lots of cover as well as pleantiful berry’s for our Canadian Black Bears to grow old in. The close access to the farmland and multiple oat fields surrounded by heavy cover give these Canadian Black Bears everything they need to grow faster and bigger than they do in less nutrient rich area’s.  In combination with growing faster and larger, our bear population also reproduces at a higher rate than black bears of many other regions.  In fact we have saw several sows with up to four cubs.

Our typical black bear hunt has you in the stand for 4:00pm.  You will be dropped off by your guide via atv at the start of the hunt and then picked up again at dark unless you have harvested a black bear earlier in the evening in which you will be able to contact your guide with the handheld radio that we will provide you.

Our black bear hunts are 5 day hunts running Monday- Friday.  This has our hunters arriving Sunday afternoon and departing Saturday morning. Once in camp every aspect of your hunt will be taken care of.  Spacious accommodations with all the ammenities of home in combination with top tiered meals, this is truly a Canadian black bear hunting experience that will be second to none.

Affordable Hunting Trips for Whitetail Deer and Black Bear in Canada

We are proud to be among a select few outfitters to offer each one of our hunters the privacy of their own bedroom in our hunting lodge. Our 1800 square foot lodge currently offers 6 bedrooms and 3 baths, complete with a spacious dining and lounging area.

Located on a remote edge of the Canadian boreal forest you will be treated to the pure silence and tranquility of the wilderness that surrounds us. The lodge does have satellite television as well as wifi throughout, but perhaps the best entertainment is the whitetails that feed under the yard light nightly.

Once you are in camp, our team will take over and offer you a comfortable hunt in every manner possible. All meals will be included and camp Chef Georgie will have a variety of delicious meals throughout the week to ensure you will not lose any weight on this hunt.
