… where the Central Texas counties of Brown, Coleman and Callahan have been producing some of the best mourning dove hunting in Texas. Our hunting area is in the “open country” where the West really begins and the doves are acrobats at their best. Our guides have many years experience conducting dove hunts in this area.
We are convinced that your dove hunting trip will be one of the most enjoyable and productive. In fact, we encourage you to ask others who have attended our dove hunts – and there are hundreds of them throughout the USA, and even the U.K.
Large fields of sunflowers and dove weed attract the local birds for the early part of the season. The three counties (Brown, Coleman and Callahan) lie in the fly away of the more mature doves that generally migrate from Kansas and Oklahoma during the latter part of the season. This is truly the test of a hunter and the delight of those who like to see and pursue birds in their natural habitat.
Weekend hunts begin with lunch on Friday and terminate after an early Sunday breakfast. Mid-week hunts follow the same schedule of events over a two-and-a-half day period of time. Two afternoon field hunts at different locations. We have hunting leases at approximately 40 to 50 different fields over a three county area.
Trap, sporting clays and other similar shooting facilities are provided and supervised for your pleasure. Attractive prizes are presented to shooters winning various categories.
Come and experience the delights of a group of people who love what they do – “it’s infectious”. The relaxed atmosphere and change of pace will make a new person of you. No where can you find a more perfect setting to build a strong relationship with your clients and prospective clients.
