I hunted with Cilliers Safaris during August of this year and had a great hunt and experience.

When researching a hunt I take a few factors into consideration but the overall experience is as important as the hunt success. I value the experience of the hunt as well as the possible hunt opportunities as it all ends up as the memories we take away with us way beyond just the trophies… Cilliers Safaris will give you those memories! The animals you harvest will be under fair chase conditions and you will leave comfortable on the knowledge that there are outfits that in Africa like Cilliers that still uphold ethical hunting practices and value conservation. Allen is a wealth of knowledge and I enjoyed our many conversations and he endured my many questions. Wayne is a patient and calm PH that worked hard to help me achieve my dream kudu bull, then a cracking warthog and finally a great Gemsbok bull…all with my recurve…and he understands bowhunters as he is a bowhunter himself. The experience of hunting with bushman trackers, Andres and Bonnie was an important part of this experience. Morning stalks following gemsbok bull tracks, crossing leopard and rhino tracks and then tracking hit game is all part of a great experience. Then the food…Jacqui’s cooking is a memorable experience in itself! Wild game, deserts…it never ended! And Bianca’s “ Brai Broukies” (toasted sandwiches on the BBQ) yum😅 You will be looked after and when you leave you WILL leave as friends! Look forward to a return one day for my Eland bull! Our trip to Sandveld to hunt with the Cilliers exceeded all expectations. My wife and I were amazed by the quality and variety of game and left with some great trophies (taken with both bow and rifle) and a trove of terrific photographs. The Cilliers are true conservationists and students of the outdoors and—to top it all off—incredibly enjoyable people to be around. The skill exhibited by Wayne and our bushman trackers in finding and tracking game was surpassed perhaps only by Jacqui’s talents as a chef and gracious hostess. Bow blinds are generally spacious pit style blinds that will easily accommodate three people and typically offer shots at permanent water sources within very reasonable bow range (15-25 yards). The lodge and sleeping quarters had all necessary amenities and comforts without feeling inauthentic and were well kept by the competent and friendly camp staff. We will definitely be coming back.

Absolute amazing hunting experience for my first African safari!

Did a Leopard hunt and i got my Leopard on the 4th day of my 14 day Safari. My PH (Wayne) and his amazing Bushman Trackers went out their way to get me a Leopard. Their skills, experience and Tracking ability blew me away! Sandveld which boarders on Bushmanland is such a beautiful area with abundance of game and trophy quality. I managed to harvest a 57 inch Kudu, Gemsbok, Wildebeest, Springbok, Warthog and Zebra. The accommodation is wonderful and very comfortable. Jacqui and Bianca make the most amazing meals that are to die for. I could not wait till dinner every night to see what was on the menu. The Bird hunting was also amazing there, and allot of fun. They offer some amazing wing shooting for a variety of different Bird Species. I definitely plan to go back.

I have hunted with the Cilliers three times. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC hunting, guiding, and hunting country! Hunting with Bushmen trackers is amazing and a bow hunter who wants to learn from the finest stalkers on earth will come away with skills he or she never had before. Had an outstanding hunt with the Cilliers Safaris in June 2018. Over sixty thousand acres to hunt on Sandveld with another one hundred thousand on the adjoining Eden Game Reserve. All native game – none of the animals were trucked in and because they are well managed in their native habitat the trophies were excellent. Great relaxed family atmosphere with all the comforts of home – made it feel like you were hunting with long time friends. Wayne and Alan are excellent PHs and their Bushman trackers are a marvel. Hunted elephant, Gemsbok, Springbok, Eland, Jackal and even took the time to shoot a few doves. I’ve had the opportunity to hunt on six continents and never had a better time. Definitely plan to go back – maybe next time I will use a bow instead of my rifle.

I’ve hunted many different countries in Africa and have never encountered the quality and quantity of game as on their farm. You will see everything from Steenbok to Eland and everything in between. Whether you bring a rifle or bow there will be many shot opportunities at some fantastic trophies. I’ve hunted there on 5 different occasions and will continue to go back. They are a close knit family with excellent accommodations. Jacqui and Steven are excellent cooks and you’ll experience meals that you’ve never had before from the game you’ve harvested. They have bushman trackers that are some of the best I’ve ever seen. It truly is a hunt you’ll never forget.

One of the best Safari hunts I have experienced! Been to South Africa twice. This was my first time to Namibia, and what a experience! The Cilliers family run a fantastic operation. They make you feel at home the moment you set foot there. Sandveld has so much game, and the trophy quality is outstanding! Took a number of excellent animals. The food is to die for, and best of all was tasting every game animal ! harvested! Except for the Baboon;) Allan and Wayne are outstanding PH’s with years of bush knowledge between them, learned a lot from them. The Bushamn trackers i can not explain in words! You need to experience those amazing hunters yourself. Anyone who has has been there before will know what im talking about. Plan to return with my bow next year to stalk some Eland.
