Glendeer Guides was established in 2000, the name derives from the family working farm in Canterbury, South Island New Zealand.
Your host and head guide P.G.L McLauchlan and wife Jude own and operate this family run business. Jude was an award-winning travel consultant thus adding a welcoming factor in piecing together the finer details of the Trophy hunt, travel needs and logistics for our inbound guest. Guiding clients is a big part of our lives, trophy hunting February through to July and then fly-fishing Guiding for over-sized Brown and Rainbow trout in clear mountain streams October through to February/March, in search of Red Stag, Bull Tahr, Fallow Bucks, Chamois and Elk along with Brown and Rainbow trout this is our business this is our era of expertise.
