Jim River Ranch is the same team that is partnered with The REAL DeCOY® motorized duck and goose decoys! These guys have experience hunting from Texas through the Dakotas. The guides from Jim River Ranch will provide a premium decoy spread and solid calling techniques. Depending on the hunt, they will use top of the line full body decoys for field hunting or The REAL DeCOY® motorized decoys while hunting on the water. Whether you are in the layout blind or sitting in the cattails, you will have a great South Dakota waterfowl hunting experience. This is what we do! And, we waterfowl hunt as a profession! Big Game Hunting Outfitters in South Dakota
Free Range, Fair Chase Big Game Hunts on Private Ranch Land for West River Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer and Pronghorn Antelope
Jim River Ranch has secured leases on over 30,000 acres of Prime range land including land cropped with corn, beans, sunflowers, wheat and alfalfa. All wild game, fair chase!
Guide: Professionally guided hunt. All local transportation provided!
Lodging: Lodging is provided in close proximity to the area you will be hunting.
Meals: All family style meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner, including soft drinks.
Game Processing: Game will be field dressed and delivered to local facility for processing of meat and mount.
Downtime hunting: Any down time from your big game hunt can be filled with a coyote hunt, prairie dog hunting or the upland bird hunting is great, including Sharpe tail Grouse, Prairie Chicken and pheasant. $150 per day additional to package rate.

Archery: East River Whitetail deer
Hunting: Several Thousand acres of private owned James River bottom land, featuring CRP, corn, tree strips, shelter belts, sloughs, the best habitat on earth! All wild game, fair chase. Non-resident Archery deer hunting licenses can be purchased right over the internet!
Guide: Professionally guided hunt with all blinds and stands provided, as needed.
Meals: Breakfast, Field lunch, Dinner, snacks, soft drinks.
Lodging: Lodging will be provided in close proximity to the area that you will be hunting.
Game Processing: Game will be field dressed and delivered to local facility for processing of meat and mount.
Downtime hunting: Any down time form your big game hunt can be filled with a coyote hunt or a pheasant hunt. $150 per day additional to package rate.

Hunting: LIMIT 5 or MORE Birds a DAY! Several Thousand acres of private land, featuring CRP, corn, tree strips, shelter belts, sloughs, the best pheasant hunting habitat on earth! With proper licensing, we can offer guided waterfowl hunts in the morning and pheasant hunting in the afternoon! We provide all shells to your specifications, and can provide guns for those who like to travel light.

Trap Shooting: Private trap range including all of the clays and shells you can shoot!

While at Jim River Ranch we pride ourselves at making sure that you have the most enjoyable experience that you could expect. During off time from the field we have a variety of activities that you can engage in! One of which is Cowboy Action Shooting! We will take you to “The Mancave”, where we have our indoor Cowboy Action Shooting Range set up with timers, to show who truly is, the “fastest draw” in the west!
You and your group could also elect to make the trip to “Cabela’s” located in Mitchell, SD. A ninety minute drive in our Jim River Ranch Shuttle bus, which also gives a pretty nice tour of eastern South Dakota scenery!
If you are really up for some adventure and have an extra day on your hands! A trip west beyond the Missouri River, Jim River Ranch has leased land, that offers some of the best Sharp-tail Grouse hunting to be found anywhere in the world!
