Our family owned and operated ranch has been breeding quality whitetails since 2000. Hogsback Ranch’s breeding facility/program moved to its current location in April of 2005. In addition to preserve hunting opportunities, we offer does, fawns, breeder bucks and semen for sale throughout the deer breeding season.

Here at Hogsback, the bucks are looking incredible on our trail cams and we can not wait to see what’s in store for our hunters this fall and winter. Our 2018 hunting season was unforgettable! We were fortunate to take some really beautiful animals on the ranch. What these photos don’t tell is the adventure behind the hunt and the camaraderie that will last a lifetime. Fall Waterfowl Duck and Goose Hunting

A perfect pairing for your trophy whitetail hunt may be some high-flying bird action. Our hunters have truly enjoyed our outstanding duck and goose hunting during early season and well as migration hunts in layout blinds for giant Canadian Geese! The pheasant hunting and grouse hunting are also a fun combination to any deer hunt.

Spring Turkey hunts and Black Bear Hunting

Our hunting preserve specializes in whitetail deer hunting, but we also have variety of other hunting opportunities available.  You can also rent our lodge for a black bear or bobcat hunt or just to enjoy the trails of the Chequamegon National Forest.

How to Book your Hunt:
All whitetail deer hunts are booked for up to three days of hunting with lodging and meals available. Hunt are fully guided with trophy preparation included. Meat processing is also available at a local meat processor. Transportation to and from the Eau Claire or Central Wisconsin (CWA) is available. ($100.00 charge)  Advanced reservations with a $1,000 – $2,000 non-refundable deposit are required to confirm bookings for all hunts. Balance must be paid by money order, cashiers check, cash or personal check (with prior approval) upon completion of the hunt. If a hunter wishes to harvest more than one deer during his/her three day stay, a $500 discount* will be given on the second deer harvested. A $1,000 discount* will be given for each deer after the second. *Applies to whitetail deer only.
